Jennifer Lawrence was breathtaking in a red/tangerine Dior Couture creation. The column dress featured a peplum skirt and the star accessorized it with a Ferragamo clutch and wore her necklace at the back, just like the did for the 2020 Academy Awards.
Kristen Bell was equally gorgeous in a Roberto Cavalli gown with beaded detailing. Another star who wowed on the red carpet in Cavalli, Kristin Chenoweth opted for a metallic gold dress with a mini tulle train.
Oscar Dresses 2020 – Gold
Wearing Elie Saab Fall 2020 Couture, Angelina Jolie was also on board with the gold trend, in a beautiful beaded gown with paired Ferragamo shoes.
Cate Blanchett won the Academy Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role (“Blue Jasmine”), but the actress really sparkled on the Oscars red carpet in an Armani Privé gown, fully embroidered with Swarovski crystal baguettes.
Sarah Paulson also opted for Ellie Saab and paired her Spring 2020 Couture embellished gown with Christian Louboutin ‘Youpi’ rose-gold pumps.

Charlize Theron stunned in Dior Couture, opting for a black gown with sheer illusion straps and completing her look with Harry Winston jewels.
Wearing J. Mendel Fall 2020, Anna Kendrick went for a gown with asymmetrical lines and floral detailing.

Jennifer Garner chose a truly breathtaking Oscar de la Renta gown that shimmered on the red carpet and pulled it off with a delicate clutch.
Lady Gaga showed off in Atelier Versace from the Spring 2020 couture collection with Brian Atwood platforms.

Lupita Nyong’o made the Best Dresses list again in a Nairobi blue Prada gown which she helped design. Fred Leighton jewels and Prada Raso clutch completed her look and the actress also got another gorgeous accessory on stage, the Oscar for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role (“12 Years a Slave”).
Amy Adams opted for blue again after the SAG Awards and pulled it off with a Gucci Première gown and Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Collection jewels.
Sandra Bullock opted for a navy Alexander McQueen gown and paired it with Lorraine Schwartz jewels and sideswept curls.
Oscars Dresses 2020 – Bold Shoulders
Kate Hudson was a gorgeous appearance on the red carpet an Atelier Versace Spring 2020 gown with shoulder pads and cape detailing, accessorized with the Jimmy Choo ‘Vibe’ Sandal.
The one shoulder Giambattista Valli dress Penelope Cruz wore with Chopard jewels wasn’t too sweet, thanks to the delicate black bow detailing.
