Stella McCartney Resort 2020 Collection
Stella McCartney designed a playful, colorful resort 2020 collection, without forgetting her signature style of ‘sharp tailoring, natural confidence and sexy femininity’. There are amazing tropical prints, horizontal stripes, punchy blues, yellows and oranges. Hawaiian-printed tunic tops and crisp white shirts are paired with shorts, skirts and tapered pants.
“We do conventional runway shows twice a year, so resort is a great excuse to have fun,” Stella McCartney said. “All this color and print is about exciting and reenergizing people, and it’s nice for everyone to see that you can actually enjoy and live in these clothes,” the designer added.
For her resort 2020 collection, Stella McCartney incorporated lots of cheerful prints, pops of color, but also a few minimalist pieces. The idea behind this line is the amazing versatility and possibility to mix and match the pieces at ease in order to put together edgy, personal looks. Check out the refined blazers, tailored pants, chic skirts, comfy knits, and oh-so-lovely bows used for dresses and shoes.
The Stella McCartney Resort 2020 collection is a beautiful sartorial mix of prints, colors, textures and shapes. A much-coveted line that besides its super-fun part with Hawaiian prints, deck-chair stripes, jacquard houndstooth and seersucker also has a special understated elegance exuded through simple, minimalist pieces. The timeless, go-with-everything black looks extremely fluid and chic teamed with warm shades of beige and caramel, or even with dazzling lemon or cobalt.
The collection is just perfect for a stylish getaway. A parade of functional pieces that allow a multitude of fashion-forward combinations. Amidst an alluring range of fresh items, there is also a variety of sharp, elegant, office-appropriate clothes and shoes. “There’s a lot of versatility; that’s what’s nice about a [Resort] collection,” Stella McCartney said, adding that, “You don’t have to be so controlled. You can give a lot of different people a lot of different things and not be afraid to do that.”
