The 2020 BAFTA Awards held on February 16 at the Royal Opera House in London brought a variety of interesting and inspirational beauty looks, courtesy of some of entertainment’s most talented women. Classic elegance with a laid back vibe seems to have been the buzzword at the BAFTA Awards 2020 edition and there were many interesting options when it came to both the 2020 BAFTA Awards hairstyles and the makeup looks. Here are some of the celebs that managed to shine at the event:
2020 BAFTA Awards Hairstyles: Updos
Uma Thurman was one of the stars that turned the spotlight on her thanks to her lovely French roll which she paired with smokey eyes. Another timeless beauty that managed to steal the spotlight was Amy Adams, who in addition to opting for a timeless black gown, chose a sleek side chignon and dark berry colored lips. Another star who opted for a simple yet flattering look was Cate Blanchett, who went for a simple chignon and a natural makeup look which flattered her features perfectly.


2020 BAFTA Awards Hair: Waves and Curls
Wavy hairstyles and curls also proved a popular choice at the event. One of the most effortlessly chic looks from this category was Angelina Jolie’s side swept waves which complemented her masculine-inspired outfit perfectly. The loose hairstyle made her lovely eyes become the main focal point. Olga Kurylenko was another celeb that impressed at the 2020 BAFTAs.


She opted for lovely loose curls which framed her face beautifully and lovely nude lips. Josephine de la Baume was another star who opted for lovely loose curls to complement her lovely Goth-inspired look. Less polished ‘dos were also spotted. Messy voluminous curls and wine colored lips were Oprah Winfrey’s choices for the event.


BAFTA Awards 2020: Short Hairstyles
Short sexy crops also shined on then BAFTA Awards 2020 red carpet. Among the stars that managed to put the spotlight on them were ’12 Years A Slave’ darling Lupita Nyong’o, who looked ravishing in a stunning emerald green mermaid style dress accessorized with gold accessories and a bold eye makeup look that emphasized both her stunning eyes and her full lips. Hairstyle-wise, she kept things simple opting for her signature look.


Another short haired beauty that struck a pose on the red carpet was Maggie Gyllenhaal, who styled her pixie cut simply, focusing on her makeup instead to complement her heavily embellished outfit. Bold red lips and stunning lashes proved a good choice for the star.
