It is often described as being a form of alternative medicine that uses volatile liquid plant materials, known as essential oils and other aromatic compounds from plants. It influences a person’s mood or health and it’s very popular these days.
Essential oils are the central part in aromatherapy. They are extracted from plants, leaves, flowers, roots and they are to be found in special secretory glands, or cell plants. Every essential oil has its unique print, given by water, soil, sun and air. Aromatherapy becomes, due to these oils, a medical alternative and a healing solution.
Ethereal oils have beneficial influence on our mental and spiritual disposition, that’s why aromatherapy is a real alternative to daily stress.
When you decide using this specific therapy, you should be careful what kind of essential oil you purchase. They should be chosen with a specific purpose, such as relaxing, finding personal peace, etc.
These oils have three different notes, each covering a different ‘department’:
The top note (head) is invigorating, refreshing and enhances concentration.
The heart note (middle) gives harmony and peace.
The base note (bottom) is stabilizing, reinforcing and helps regain energy. These base notes last for about 8 hours!
