A vision of paradise with “perpetual sun”. This is how Carlos Miele himself has described his latest spring collection right after his show. Colorful, flowy yet classy and sophisticated, the looks presented managed to capture the essence of the collection surprisingly well subscribing into the feminine vibe that many of the previous collections from this edition of the New York Fashion Week have had.
Comprised mainly from dresses and without including a single pair of trousers, the collection could not have made a clearer statement: the spring/summer 2020 fashion is all about femininity with a highly sophisticated touch. Eclectic color combos, luxurious golden touches, high splits and minimal accessories are only some of the style elements the designer suggests for the next season.
With paradise as a theme, it comes as no surprise that vibrant hues as opposed to pale, neutral hues are preferred. Bright orange, intense green tones or playful blue tones are some of the most notable alternatives color-wise in the brand’s vision. From casual options to evening gowns, the alternatives are more than lust-worthy, being a serious eye candy for fashion lovers.
