The latest Givenchy fall 2020 collection hit the runway at Paris Fashion Week in style leaving the audience stunned at the show’s unveiling ! It seems that for this particular season Givenchy’s Creative Director, Ricardo Tisci, didn’t turn towards the esteemed fashion house’s archives but focused on his personal work done at a younger age and the fusion of old-meets-new ideas was flawlessly transposed into reality by the designer.
The Givenchy fall 2020 show made its debut with a boyish cut sweatshirt displaying a super cute Bambi print, garment that was paired with a pair of sexy boots and a see-through mesh skirt featuring wet-like polka dot details. The ensemble looked soft-grungy and feminine altogether meaning that for the fall of 2020 the modern Givenchy woman from Ricardo Tisci’s vision has everything to do with femininity and attitude!
“It was really one of the most fun collections I’ve done in my career” said Mr. Tisci about the Givenchy lineup and it really did show as each design looked fantastic.
While some of the details looked a bit rock-chic and the best example to give were the cool biker jackets, that mishmash of street statement styles and flirt-feminine details created that powerful allure that got everyone gasping for air! These feminine accents included details that emphasized the waist, fabulous floral patterns, sheer fabrics and sexy slits.
An array of gorgeous pieces ranging from skirt separates to maxi skirts paired with boyish sweaters, chic trousers and statement jackets as well as some lovely dresses, all in a cool monochromatic hue or displaying some bold prints took over the runway at Givenchy this fall so you can have plenty of choices when it comes to revamping the style of your new season wardrobe.
The soft gypsy and grunge-like designs were more than welcome as this particular season most designers chose to take on a more vintage approach to style, setting the wearability factor as a secondary priority, but not Tisci, who managed to faultlessly juxtapose style with wearability, so contemporary fashionistas will look and feel like true style icons this year!
