The new season is as diverse as it gets. Equestrian influences, military touches, versatile and dramatic vibes, luxury, all come in handy when it comes to defining some of the leading creative perspectives of the season. However, it’s not always the immediately visible world that can deliver the most inspiration. Thinking outside of the box can prove just as interesting especially since we’ve seen quite some interesting results when designers have used literary references in their collection.
One such example is Karen Walker’s Sea Monsters fall 2020 collection which draws inspiration from Jules Verne’s Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea novel. The result is a variety of uber loveable retro influences translated into simple and versatile pieces that manage to make a statement without necessarily screaming rainy season attire. Mod, with fairly distinguishable ’60s elements and a different set of prints from what the season has thrown at so far, the new looks are as covetable as it gets.
There’s no reason to give up feminine vibes if you feel like they best define you. With a variety of fabulous skirts and dresses, the label can meet your new season needs and help you express yourself in your own way, whether you prefer to stay on the safe side and rock monochrome pieces or you like to take a little risk and mix fab prints in one single outfit. A few subtle vintage vibes will just add character to your looks and a fun allure at the same time.
Keeping things as versatile as possible while still having fun with pattern and color is especially simple with the right accessories. Simple clutches or fun sunglasses can do the trick but you can also turn to textural touches if you prefer an even more minimalist approach. Either way, the options to stay fabulous and creative this season are surprisingly varied and interesting once you put your personal touch into them.
