Marni at Milan Fashion Week Fall 2020
When it comes to Marni’s aesthetic, the brand’s designer Consuelo Castiglioni describes it as “European-inflected bohemianism.” Consuelo has always had a modern approach towards materials and silhouettes, juxtaposing colors, exclusive prints and textures that had as result a new, unique form of functionality. So, there’s no surprise whatsoever that we’re so eager to see what Castiglioni will be showcasing at Milan Fashion Week 2020.
Season after season, Marni continues to use new, innovative techniques and therefore manages to enhance the quality across a wide span of product categories. So, Consuelo created an avant-garde spirit balancing exceptionally-crafted ready-to-wear with a complete line of accessories. Her creations always seemed surreal and had a statement-making flare! Well, take for example the Marni spring 2020 collection featuring an array of jaw-dropping goodies and unusual combinations. Imagine color blocking, graphic prints and eye-catching patterns mixed in immediately-recognizable Marni style.
A flawless geometrical elegance was spotted in Marni’s fall 2020 collection. “I want to go back to the start, with simplicity and discipline,” Consuelo Castiglioni said before the show. Chic lines, prints and geometric motifs blended beautifully into a sophisticated line that oozed maximum femininity. Sophistication was also the key word for Castiglioni’s spring 2020 collection exuding innocence and purity. Absolutely lovely!
In the Marni fall 2020 line we discovered once again the unmistakable pure and precise lines and observed the absence of the brand’s signature prints. The color palette used featured mostly black, ivory, light blue, carmine red, and tobacco. However, for spring 2020 prints are back yet a little bit different this time. “More clean, more fresh, more light,” Consuelo said.
So, are you girls ready for the fashion marathon? We certainly are and we invite you to check back for updates! Marni at Milan Fashion Week fall 2020 will be showcased on February February 24.
