The Nina Ricci fall 2020 collection received high raves from the audience as it seems that Peter Coping’s vision of the contemporary Nina Ricci woman seems to have everything to do with refined elegance.
Packing a high dose of attitude, the new fashion collection brought an array of stylish garments ranging from classic separates to draping or undone details that helped balance the collection by infusing a modern, seductive chicness into the lineup inspired by vintage fashion trends. Apparently, the snaps of a 70s campaign David Hamilton did for the renowned fashion house sparked Coping’s ideas and creativity as the lineup seemed to take on that ladylike allure that the ballerinas featured in the ad ooze effortlessly and the result of his fusion of ideas got us hooked on the lineup.
This is definitely one of our favorite fashion collections featured so far at Paris Fashion Week as the elegance of Nina Ricci signature attire matches perfectly the style requirements of the moment and due to the diversity the new lineup packs, women can easily select an outfit that not only flatters their silhouette but also helps boost their confidence.
The sex-appeal brought by dresses, pencil skirts, circle skirts as well as peplum details is irrefutable and it seems that these ‘weapons of seduction’ fused with a high dose of refinement dominated the runway at the Nina Ricci fall 2020 collection show from Paris Fashion Week. While some separates looked business-chic with a touch of vintage classiness other designs looked a bit more relaxed yet totally iconic, so regardless of your choice the mishmash of items displaying an impressive craftsmanship level will surely get you into the center of attention!
While the first part of the collection brought to the surface chic cocktail dresses that emphasized the silhouette towards the end of the show, Peter Coping amped up the sophistication and glam level by revealing gowns in duchesse satin featuring subtle embellishments, draping effects as well as realistic 3D textile rose details.
Now, the fact that formal wear dominated the collection doesn’t mean that daywear was completely shun from the collection, on the contrary, an array of warm, effortlessly chic garments such as sweaters, parkas, cardigans, turtlenecks and coats made their way to the podium. The color palette chosen for Nina Ricci’s fall 2020 was all about classic romanticism with red, and achromatic pigments featured throughout the lineup, so check out the designs and pick your style inspirations for the upcoming season!
