New year, new trends, new super duper goodies! Are you dolls ready to welcome sunny days in style? Well, we’ve already started our hunt for some uber-cool additions to our wardrobes and came across a zillion of wow-worthy pieces. Our latest discovery is a brand that caught us hooked with their laidback and effortlessly chic designs. We’re talking about the new Rabens Saloner spring/summer 2020 lookbook. Stylish and gorgeous textures and a beautiful palette of go-with-everything colors drew our attention from the very first glimpse. Yumminess all the way, trust us!
More than a brand, Rabens Saloner is described as being a state of mind. It’s more like a combination between flair for fashion and a genuine love for traditional Asian craftsmanship. Ah, but the result is absolutely amazing! The label’s collections are born after designer Birgitte Raben Olrik visits a hotchpotch of workrooms and family businesses in all corners of Asia.
“There is so much inspiration to gather from local artisans if you show them that you appreciate their skills and admire their traditions. It’s a kind of mutual fertilization, if you keep an open mind, amazing things can emerge from it,” Birgitte says.
Therefore, the Rabens Saloner spring/summer 2020 collection makes no exception. What we love in this line? Well, hard to say as everything is wearable and incredibly stylish and unique. There are army-inspired jackets, Ikat print pants, handprinted kimonos, kaftans, oversized sequined shirt, tops, tanks and tees, shorts and jeans, tie dye skirts, embroidered maxi dresses, cutwork dresses, color panel sweaters, cardigans, striped knitted capes, ponchos, jumpsuits, bikini tops, but also large straw hats, sandals, belts, and bags.
With an impressive touch of authenticity, the Rabens Saloner spring/summer 2020 lookbook features an array of wardrobe essentials that guarantee to keep us voguish all season long. The beauty of Rabens Saloner is that the brand is not about following a certain trend or trying to be somebody that you’re not. It’s all about being you! And this season’s collection reflects not only the beautiful cultural mishmash with its ethnic influences in patterns and the use of color but it’s also a trip in time embracing a decade like the 70’s boho style made iconic by Janis and Joni. Have a nosey!
