Thigh high slits and deep necklines made a big impact on the red carpet, while bold prints were the huge surprise. From purple dresses to halter gowns, here are the most important SAG Awards 2020 red carpet trends.
Gorgeous shades of purple made a big splash on the red carpet. The highlights included Keira Knightley’s Erdem peplum gown that hid her baby bump, along with Matthew McConaughey’s wife, Camila Alves , who also wore a rich shade of purple.
Her strapless Donna Karan Atelier gown featured a dramatic sash, and “Orange Is The New Black” actress Elizabeth Rodriguez also opted for a high impact purple one shoulder gown.
One of the biggest SAG Awards 2020 red carpet trends was definitely unexpected. Stars took on dramatic prints and made them work. Lupita Nyong’o opted for an Elie Saab Pre-Fall 2020 creation with a gorgeous floral pattern, Rashida Jones wore a sequin print from the Emanuel Ungaro Spring 2020 collection, while Kelly Osbourne rocked a leopard print skirt from Elisabetta Franchi with a black top.
Sheer Overlay Dresses
