Who can best describe the latest Sister By Sibling fall 2020 collection than the designing trio who managed to wow the audience with their uber-cool goodies? “Energy, fun, and Englishness,” they explained. Created by Joe Bates, Sid Bryan and Cozette McCreery, this fun and flirty knitwear line had as source of inspiration TV personality Paula Yates, the late wife of the singer and activist Bob Geldof. “She was a rare thing,” Joe Bates said of Yates before the show. “An overtly sexy woman, flirty, pretty, and clever. But women loved her…whereas women hated Wendy James!”
The result? Boy oh boy, those goodies were absolutely delicious! Okay, sartorially speaking, of course! Trust us, the 15-piece collection made our heart go pitter-pat and completely rethink the idea of knits. “At first we very definitely wanted to be pure knit,” Bates explained. “But it’s going somewhere new, we need to expand. Knit and denim are very similar. Knit can exist on its own and people can understand denim in the same way. We’re all about texture and fun,” Bates said.
The Sister By Sibling fall 2020 collection featured feminine, flirty pieces that guarantee to add a special flare to your wardrobes. There were Fair Isle sweater dresses, pencil skirt twinsets, capes, pom-pom berets, and cozy knitted scarves. It was a girly line that can undoubtedly give an achingly lovely and utterly gorgeous flare to any dressing. Well, Sister By Sibling proves that one doesn’t have to sacrifice style of comfort and coziness.
So, are you dolls ready to take your style to a new level? We definitely are!
