Natural Makeup Remover Recipes
Most women enjoy putting on some makeup and showing their best physical traits but makeup removal is an important step in every woman’s beauty routine, so here are some natural makeup remover recipes so you can save a few bucks in the process.
Types of Natural Eye Makeup Remover
You should know that baby oil is a great, effective and gentle eye makeup remover. Apply just a few drops of oil on a cotton ball and rub it over the eyes area, while keeping your eyes closed. You may have to repeat this process a couple of times, depending of how much makeup you applied initially.
Organic Almond Oil
This is another great homemade eye makeup remover that is very popular in France. You can apply it on your eyes the same way as the baby oil.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
It might be greasier around the eyes than organic almond oil, but when nothing else is around, it’s a perfect eye makeup remover. It works very gently, however you should not use it on your entire face. Also, you should apply just a few drops of olive oil when using it for removing your eye makeup.
Natural Makeup Removal Recipes
Here is another great natural makeup remover. You should peel a cucumber and try lightly blending it into a paste. Add ½ cup of milk and simmer for about 10 minutes. Wait to cool off before proper usage.
Also, you can create a homemade makeup remover for acne prone skin by taking the juice of a fresh cucumber and mixing 1/8 cup with a few drops of baby oil. The concoction will make your skin look and feel smoother.
Green Tea with Rice Milk
Green tea is great for your skin. Mix well ½ cup of rice milk with one cup of green tea and let it cool. When it reaches room temperature, apply the mixture on your face by using cotton balls to gently remove your makeup.
Lemon Juice and Rice Milk
You should add 2 parts of rice milk and 1 part of lemon juice and you should stir together. Add some mixture on a cotton ball and gently wipe your skin to remove your makeup. You should, however, make sure to avoid the eyes.
