Last night’s Billboard Music Awards 2020 show brought a high dose of glam and many inspirational looks. The Billboard Awards 2020 celebrity style choices, on the blue carpet this time, were absolutely stunning as a whole, but there were definitely some A-listers that set the tone for the night, drawing all the spotlight on them. Here are some of the most attention-grabbing Billboard Music Awards 2020 celebrity looks:
Billboard Awards 2020 Style: Short Dresses
Though long dresses are usually the norm at such high profile events, some celebs opted for refreshing short dresses instead. Taylor Swift looked dazzling in a sparkly Zuhair Murad mini dress which showed off her amazing legs. Ariana Grande also impressed in a sparkly, flirty strapless black cocktail dress, accessorized with fab black pumps.
Ke$ha also opted for black and went for a sexy Givenchy which she feels was a bold move on her part: “I went more naked… all over… than usual.” Palladium jewelry and nude wedge sandals completed her look. Chloe Moretz, on the other hand, took a trendier approach with a belted Fendi with fab geometric panels. Black open toe sandals with black and white beaded accents completed her look.
Billboard 2020 Fashion: Long Gowns
Long gowns might be more elegant, but they aren’t necessarily less bold than their shorter counterparts. Jennifer Lopez was one of the celebs that proved it, choosing a gorgeous gold embellished Zuhair Murad gown with a plunging neckline from the designer’s spring 2020 couture collection. The sexy ensemble was completed by pointy gold ankle-strap pumps and a fab black and gold clutch.
Kelly Rowland was never afraid of the spotlight and her bold high slit metallic Rami Al Ali gown. Selena Gomez also opted for a high slit Atelier Versace dress with gorgeous neon accents. Silver metallic sandals sandals completed her look. Shania Twain was another stunning appearance. Her Grecian-inspired Pavoni by Mikael D strapless dress looked absolutely amazing.
Billboard Music Awards 2020: Jumpsuits
Though jumpsuits used to be a relatively rare choice for formal events, it seems this is beginning to change. Miley Cyrus was one of the celebrities determined to shake things up bit and her fab Balmain jumpsuit with checker-like motifs definitely served her well, drawing all the spotlight on her. Given her high impact choice, the pair of simple black sandals she chose were the right option. Stana Katic took a plunge in a disco inspired jumpsuit from Nicholas Oakwell’s spring 2020 couture collection. Her silver honey comb belt became the instant focal point.
